Brian Davis is a graduate student in landscape architecture at the University of Virginia. After studying architecture and landscape at North Carolina State University he lived and worked as a landscape designer in Buenos Aires, Argentina and urban designer and guerrilla gardener in New York City. He writes the landscape criticism blog FASLANYC and contributes to various design and acedemic journals and conferences with a focus on American megacities, Latin American landscapes, and the role of fun, hedonism and experimentation in expanding agency in the city.
